The Ministry of Community Development has announced ‘precedent services’ and Digital Systems for its customers.
Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, announced new smooth procedures in all its customers happiness centres to the public all over the UAE. This step confirms the ministry’s commitment to the continuity and flexibility of all government services during the current urgent situations, in light of the directives of the smart government to provide preventive and precautionary measures to reduce the spread of novel coronavirus-Covid 19.
She revealed that the ministry provides precedent services for its customers based on proactive technology services to achieve the directives of the smart government and postpone the regular updating process of the data of the social security beneficiaries and customers of all categories, noting that these precedent services allow the customers to stay at home and meet their requirements and demands through different ways such as through phone communication and various applications, ‘blockchain’ system and instant chat systems, to ensure a real-time response to their requirements and accomplish services as quickly as possible,
Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid pointed out that as part of the ministry’s efforts to ensure the continuity and flexibility of government services at this stage, the services focus on enhancing the use of digital identity for customers, by activating requests remotely and reducing the receipt of required documents, while fully adhering to flexibility in updating regular data and renewal services for various categories – “senior Emiratis, people of determination, productive families, non-benefit public associations and young people who are about to get married.”
Earlier, Hessa Essa Buhumaid announced the launch of the “Remote Rehabilitation” system that targets People of Determination, including students, who are registered at the ministry’s centres, “Mashagel” vocational, rehabilitation and employment centres and early intervention units and centres all over the UAE.
Beginning 22nd March, 2020, the ministry will soon begin the smart application, “My Family”, which allows families to participate in “remote intervention” to enhance child support efforts and in line with the precautionary measures taken by all the UAE authorities to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
