Dar Al Ber donates Dhs7m to fight coronavirus

Dar Al Ber Society has announced its donation of Dhs7 million to the Crisis and Disaster Fund, in support of the efforts of the UAE and its programmes to preserve public health and safety, in the face of the threat of the spread of the novel coronavirus “Covid-19”, and in order to provide the desired equipment and supplies to various sectors, according to the decisions of the concerned authorities.

Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Chairman of Dar Alber Society, stressed that the Society’s initiative constitutes a translation of the values of our true religion, and in response to the directives of our wise leadership, and reflects the values and philosophy of “Dar Al Ber” and its policy of standing by the homeland in all circumstances and situations, emphasising the importance of circumventing the country and its leadership, single, compact row, especially in current conditions.

Khalfan Al Mazrouei pointed to the initiative of an Emirati family group, through the Dar Al Ber Society, during the past few days, to donate and support the state’s preventive efforts and precautionary measures, with a value of Dhs12 million, in favour of purchasing and providing ambulances, medical equipment and equipment for ambulance operations, provided to the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services.

In January, the Dar Al Ber Society confirmed tht the UAE has launched from Davos the largest education project for “programming”, which targets five million young men in 50 countries across the globe.

This is why the UAE is a leading nation today which efficiently and with wisdom and competence is fighting poverty and helping the needy through education and well-established bridges, he added. Al Mazrouei said with the UAE’s embrace of “’Global Goal Live” it was among the ten countries in the world hosting the event simultaneously to put an end to extreme poverty in this world by 2030, representing a new testimony the world grants to the Emirates that confirms its leadership, humanly, charitably and developmentally.
