NMC forecasts rainfall in several areas of country

On Saturday, separate areas of the UAE experienced dust caused by active southeasterly winds, which blew at a speed of 40 kilometres/hour, started at 7:45, and continued until 6pm causing low visibility.

The National Meteorological Centre (NMC) predicts there would be opportunities for rainfall as of Sunday to Monday.

The The National Meteorological Centre also expected the weather today would be generally cloudy, with rainfall on separate areas accompanied sometimes by lightning and thunder. 

The centre also predicted the wind would be northeasterly to southeasterly moderate to active, and dust stirring with speeds ranging from 25 to 35 up to 45 kilometres/hour.

The sea is expected to be turbulent in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Monday weather, according to the The National Meteorological Centre is expected to be cloudy to partly cloudy, with rain falling on separate areas, especially the northern, sometimes accompanied by lightning and thunder.

The The National Meteorological Centre indicated the temperatures would decrease in the west and that the winds would be southeasterly, turning to northwest during the day, dust stirring, with a speed ranging from 25 to 35 to 50 kilometres/hour.

The sea on Monday will be turbulent to very turbulent in the Arabian Gulf and turbulent in the Sea of Oman.

The centre stated the Tuesday weather would be partly cloudy in general, and humid at night and on Wednesday morning, with the possibility of light fog forming on some coastal areas.

Winds will be light in the northwest on Tuesday, moderate and sometimes active, at a speed ranging between 20 to 30 to 40 kilometres/hour.

The sea on Tuesday is expected to be moderate in the Arabian Gulf, and light to moderate in the Sea of Oman.

The centre expected the Wednesday weather to be fairly cloudy, in general, and wet at night and on Thursday morning, with the possibility of fog and light fog forming on some coastal and interior areas.

Winds on Wednesday are expected to be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, sometimes active, with a speed ranging between 20 to 30 up to 38 kilometres/hour.

The sea on Wednesday is expected to be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
