Ajman Civil Defence avert tragedy, douse diesel tanker fire

Ajman Civil Defence teams on Sunday successfully put out a fire in a diesel tanker on Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road.
The driver of the tanker reportedly lost control over steering wheel and the vehicle swerved and crashed into a road barrier causing a massive blast sound.
The crash ignited sparks that immediately caught fire. No one was injured in the accident.
A call was received by the operations room around 9:00pm reporting about the accident.
Civil Defence teams reached the accident site in a record time, and successfully contained the blaze.
Civil Defence later handover the crash site to Ajman Police.
