The activation of radars came in line with the efforts made to implement the UAE’s sterilisation programme; launched by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Interior, with the collaboration of federal and local authorities, and implemented daily until April 5 from 8pm till 6am of everyday.
Additionally, the Sharjah Police urged members of the community to unite and work side by side during such exceptional circumstances, as well as adhere to all preventive health instructions of not leaving the house except for necessary causes.
Those who leave their houses for work-related purposes must register for a permit via the website www.shjpolice.gov.ae, launched by Sharjah’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority and titled (Traffic Permit System), to show reasons of leaving home and to avoid being fined.
