A prominent body in the country known for its humanitarian initiatives has launched a series of drives to support the needy and poor families in the country with the funds of around Dhs100 million.
The details of the new initiatives have been launched by Dar Al Ber Society on Tuesday.
The Dhs100 million initiative launched under the banner of ‘Sabiquo Bilkhairat’ (proceed providing good deeds) as charitable humanitarian initiatives, accompanied by urgent relief campaign from which thousands of needy and poor will benefit in the country as well as outside in light of the harsh conditions, which the world is currently facing.
The Society, which has completed 40 years of the work in the charitable and humanitarian field in UAE and the world, has assured that it launches its humanitarian initiatives from the land of “ the benevolent Zayed “. It aims to support and provide the needs for the needy categories, which embodies the highest values of solidarity and human brotherhood, offered by the UAE to the world.
Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber while addressing said that the ‘proceed providing good deeds’ initiatives that extend their hands to every needy, compelled and patient, on a humanitarian basis which is “ be assured because you are among your family. You are dear and honorable one, and we will provide you with everything you need to cross together the unprecedented historical curve.”
Al Falasi pointed out that “Proceed providing good deeds” include 13 sub-humanitarian initiatives, which provide support and assistance to all who are entitled, which are health initiatives, and ensure the provision of equipment and tools for personal protection from the new coronavirus ( COVID 19 ), masks, gloves, protective clothing and glasses, which have become very important, and support 200 People of Determination, the treatment of patients, the initiatives of the chaste families.
