As the government authorities in particular and many other bodies in general are trying their best to make life easier as well as contain the threat of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic at the earliest, many other business establishments are also helping them to made their efforts more fruitful. That is to say, they are leaving no stone unturned to keep COVID-19 at bay. Their efforts are bringing to the fore a great deal of hope.
DAC and Persil, laundry and home care brands of the German company Henkel, join hands to launch a CSR campaign to protect frontliners who are braving a challenging environment at a time of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
#SupportFrontliners is an initiative that aims to help safeguard health, retail and delivery service workers, along with their families, by providing them with cleaning products for personal use.
The initiative is part of Henkel’s Global Solidarity Program to fight together against the pandemic. The global programme also includes financial donations along with the product donations.
Ahmed Nasser, Henkel’s Vice President Middle East & Turkey Cluster said that “We want to show our appreciation to our frontliners’ dedication during this challenging time, recognising their contribution as they tirelessly work to serve the community.
While they put their lives at risk to protect our families, we want to help keep themselves and their loved ones protected as well.
The first phase of our campaign is ready to roll out in the next few days with deliveries of DAC and Persil products around the UAE, followed by the rest of the markets in the coming weeks,” he added.
DAC Disinfectant and Persil laundry products will be distributed to the staff of select health facilities catering to COVID-19 patients, retail businesses, and delivery services that remain operational in the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain.
