The Ajman Department of Economic Development (DED) has issued a circular preventing the exit of workers from the emirate of Ajman by any means of transport and restricting their move to emirate of Ajman, while strictly observing precautionary measures.

The circular also prevents workers from other emirates to enter Ajman until further notice. This step comes as part of the precautionary measures against coronavirus (Covid 19) and in implementation of the instructions issued by the competent authorities in the UAE.
The DED instructed all companies and establishments based in Ajman to necessarily observe the circular and immediately respond thereto.
Incompliant companies will be subject to administrative and legal sanctions in force in the emirate.
Companies and establishments wishing to be exempted shall contact the Operations Department at the General Headquarters of Ajman Police.
