Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, took to his social media platform to post a note of gratitude from Sam Dannoura, a Dubai resident.
According to the note, the resident contacted Dubai Community Development Authority to seek help in refilling the cylinder of his 94-year-old father who lives in Dubai International City.
The Crown Prince posted the note on his Twitter account with the caption, “In the UAE, we are one family and no one is a foreigner.”
According to Dannoura, the volunteer from Dubai Community Development Authority, Jamal, did not only refill the cylinder, he also went ahead to enquire if his elderly parents needed anything else.
“Dubai teaches us what it means to be human, we learn what this great nation is made of, and it is at times of crises that one's true morale shows. Hats off to Jamal, and Dubai Community Development Authority," Dannoura added.
