The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has enforced social distancing and lockdown globally. However, that didn’t stop a Minnesota, US, woman from celebrating her special wedding day with her grandmother.
The couple Shauna and Travis had planned out their wedding for April 25, 2020, before the pandemic. The couple carried out with the wedding plans despite the outbreak of the COVID-19. Although Shauna had one request, which was to visit her grandma Janis in Sartell, Minnesota.
Janis is a patient at Country Manor’s Rapid Recovery & Aquatic Centre.
Janis was dressed up with the aid of the staff in the perfect outfit and waited for her granddaughter to show up.
Shauna and Travis showed up at the centre, but to avoid putting anyone at risk, they were only able to communicate with Janis through the glass.
The couple and their family snapped pictures with Janis through the glass and shared laughter and compliments.
