Dubai Police stop Indian, salute her after realising she is a doctor

An Indian doctor in the UAE has shared her exceptional experience with the authorities during the National Sterilaisation period in Dubai.
Like regular days, Dr Ayesha Sultana was returning home her duties it was when she was stopped by Dubai Police patrol near Al Mulla Plaza on the Dubai-Sharjah road.
It was past midnight.
Dr Ayesha said, “I'm driving back home at 1am during curfew hours, got stopped by Dubai Police HQ… I told him I'm a doctor returning from duty, had all my papers to present them. But they refused to check anything & gave me a Salute… As a resident, this is the biggest day of my life THANKYOU…”
Ayesha recalls her moments when the Dubai Police officer saluted her, expressing gratitude for the gesture and the UAE leadership's efforts and keenness.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, launched the online #ThankYouHeroes campaign as a tribute to healthcare workers on the frontlines of the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
In a message of appreciation for doctors, nurses, paramedics and medical teams who dedicate their days and nights to save lives and ensure public safety, Sheikh Mohammed posted a video showing the round-the-clock medical staffers away from their families rushing to fulfil their duties.
"Our society needs to stand united in solidarity with our medical cadres against the global pandemic," he said.
The UAE has reported 552 new cases of coronavirus among various nationalities, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 12,481 as of Thursday.
