Abu Dhabi changes speed limit due to weather conditions

Abu Dhabi Police announce the change in the speed limit in the emirate due to change in weather.
In a video posted on their social media platform, Major Ahmed Sorour Al-Shamsi from the Safe City Center advises drivers to reduce speeds to 80 km / h for their safety and that of road users.
This is due to fluctuating weather conditions as a result of rain and dense fog, he said.
“The changed speed limit is displayed on road traffic signs and in the screens of smart gates during unstable weather,” he added.
Al-Shamsi also calls on the residents to keep practising social distancing and stay at home.
