His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, chaired a virtual cabinet meeting to discuss the post coronavirus pandemic strategy.
Sheikh Mohammed took to Twitter and said, “Today, I chaired a cabinet meeting… During which we directed the beginning of formulating the UAE’s development strategy for post-COVID-19 years...

“Our national priorities need to be reviewed by the post- COVID-19 world ... Our financial and human resources need to be redirected... Our medical, food and economic security need to be further entrenched through new programmes and projects... Preparation for the post-COVID-19 is the preparation for a new future that no one expected just months ago.”
Sheikh Mohammed also said, “We also asked today within our meeting to prepare an urgent plan to raise the level of productivity and competitiveness of the medical industries sector in the country... And we formed a working group headed by the Ministry of Energy and Industry for that... The new teams are required to work in a faster and comprehensive manner and more response is needed to accelerate daily changes.”
