UAE announces 564 new coronavirus cases and 7 deaths

The UAE Ministry of Health on Sunday announced 564 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections to 14,163.

The Health Ministry also announced the death of seven people of different nationalities who were infected with the virus, and as a result of complications associated with other diseases. This brings the number of deaths in the country to 126.

In line with the Ministry of Health’s plans to increase the number of COVID-19 tests throughout the country for the early detection of infections, particularly among those who had prior contact with infected individuals, the ministry has conducted 26,000 additional tests on Sunday.

The Health Ministry also announced 99 new recoveries, taking the total number of recovered patients in the country to 2,763.

The ministry offered its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to all patients currently undergoing medical care.
