As part of its Social Responsibility programme, Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is providing the public with complimentary access to a series of online workshops focusing on a range of scientific and academic topics during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The launch of the online series aims to encourage members of the community to enrich their knowledge during the period of precautionary measures implemented by the UAE to curb the spread of COVID-19. As part of this initiative, ADU is hosting a competition for participants every Thursday focused on the courses and general questions about ADU.

By providing them with expertise in specialised fields, we are helping to develop their personal and professional skills. This initiative complements ADU’s other activities launched during the current academic year. These include workshops for school students, led by our faculty and students, and scientific competitions enabling students to improve their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM).”
Dr. Odhabi explained that the university is also launching a series of workshops to help students obtain the required certificates for enrolling in ADU focusing on English, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and ensuring a smooth transition to university life. Courses to support parents with the management of the family budget and improvement of their English language are also in the pipeline.
In celebration of the upcoming opening of the new Al Ain campus, ADU will be launching a set of scientific courses for the community in cooperation with a group of global institutions including Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, Huawei, and other key players in the field of AI data analysis, programming, and blockchain.
The university is also organising visits for school students and allocating a specific space on the campus for both parents and students to attend seminars on the latest developments and technology. ADU also hosts career workshops to connect students with potential employers.
