The firefighting teams of the Civil Defence in Dubai controlled a fire that erupted in a building in Umm Ramool area.
According to an official source at the Civil Defence, the firefighting teams were rushed from the Rashidiya station to the location where the fire erupted when the operations room was alerted about it at exactly 8.50am on Saturday.
“The Civil Defence teams arrived at the fire site within 7 minutes and were able to control the fire of the one-storey building, which contains a contracting company and a car repair workshop, within 45 minutes,” the source added.
The fire resulted in no human injuries, but caused material losses, the source said, noting the competent teams have proceeded with examining the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
