Motorists booked in UK for breaking lockdown rules — travelling hundreds of miles looking for puppies, speakers

Desperate times, specially amid a stressful coronavirus pandemic, call for desperate measures. But there is a certain breed which is notorious for observing rules – in the breach, of course.
Such people are simply not bothered about the outcome of their actions.
According to a report in a section of the British media, police officers in Cumbria, UK, have booked motorists making non-essential journeys in the county.

One driver was stopped as he was driving from Manchester to Dundee — a distance of over 200 miles – to purchase a puppy.
Another motorist set out from London to Manchester to initially buy a car – then left for Carlisle because he wanted to procure some speakers he had seen on eBay.
On Friday, three men had travelled from Stockport to Cumbria "to feed the ducks".
They were escorted back to the motorway, with officers describing their actions as "quackers".
