VIDEO: UAE reports 783 new COVID-19 cases, 2 deaths

In line with its plan to expand and increase tests with the aim of early detecting new COVID-19 cases and trying to isolate those who had contact with them, the Ministry of Health and Prevention announced that it conducted more than 32,000 new tests on different sections of the society, using the best and latest medical examination technologies.

Intensified investigations and expanding tests across the UAE led to the detection of 783 new cases of different nationalities, all of which were stable and were subject to the necessary health care, bringing the total registered cases to 19,661.

The ministry also announced that two of the cases of different nationalities died of corona, bringing to 203 the total number of deaths.

The ministry expressed its regret and sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and its best wishes of fast recovery to the infected ones, calling on the members of society to co-operate with health authorities, abide by the instructions and commit to social distancing rules for the safety of all.

The ministry indicated that 631 new cases with COVID-19 were cured and fully recovered after receiving the necessary healthcare at the hospital, bringing to 6,012 the total number of recovered cases.
