The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment (MBRCH) pledged an additional Dhs9 million, raising its total donations to Dhs29 million for the ’10 million meals’ campaign.
The Establishment had earlier donated Dhs20 million to secure 2.5 million meals for individuals and families affected by the novel Covid-19 pandemic in the UAE’s biggest food distribution drive.
The additional Dhs9 million donation provides a further 1.12 million meals.
The MBRCH is one of the three entities that carry out the campaign’s operations through an integrated and large-scale distribution network of partnering entities to ensure quick and efficient food delivery mechanism to beneficiaries across the UAE.
Ibrahim Mohammed Bu Melha, Adviser of the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of MBRCH, said the Establishment provides financial and logistical support the’10 million meals’ campaign to provide food support for people in need throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Etisalat and Du’s technical support has helped attract widespread response to the ’10 million meals’ campaign and the World’s Tallest Donation Box to provide food support for Covid-19-hit communities.
From urging the public to donate via SMS and changing the network’s name to promoting the campaign on digital platforms, the UAE’s two main telecom service providers contributed to securing donations to the country’s biggest food distribution drive.

Sadia pledged food supplies that will help provide more than 100,000 meals for communities affected by Covid-19 pandemic as part of the nationwide ’10 million meals’ campaign.
