VIDEO: Sharjah Civil Defence teams contain vehicle fire in Al Taawun area

The Sharjah Civil Defence teams controlled a fire that erupted in a small vehicle, in Al-Taawun area of Sharjah on Thursday.
The fire caused no injuries, while the vehicle was gutted and it was removed from the scene, the civil defence confirmed.
The operations room of the civil defence in Sharjah was alerted about the fire at 11:04am. It was indicated that a small vehicle caught fire while it was parked in one yard for parking lots in Al Taawun area.
Accordingly, the firefighting team moved from Al Mina station in Sharjah to the fire’s location.
They dealt with the fire and controlled it within minutes, taking precautions measures, which prevented the flames from extending to the rest of the vehicles at the scene.
They also conducted the cooling process for scene, to make sure the fire was completely extinguished.
The competent teams continued examination of the scene to probe the circumstances of the fire.
