The joy of Ramadan to spread the good deeds have been increasing every day thanks to entities in the private sector, who in collaboration with their partners, support the society they are working.
In this regard, the Gargash Hospital has provided over 12,000 meals to labourers and distributed them in their camps during the holy month of Ramadan. This was part of their contribution to support the deserving segment of the community around them and more importantly being blessed with the month of mercy and giving.
The hospital shares its charitable and humanitarian role by distributing meals among the less fortunate who need help and support in appreciation for their efforts during these unfortunate times like lockdown in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Gargash Hospital recently opened its doors in Dubai in Umm Suqeim area, a multi-speciality, tertiary-care hospital with a primary focus on women and childcare.
Separately, Harbor Real Estate donated 6,250 meals worth Dhs50,000 to support The ’10 million meals’ campaign that was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and is led by his wife Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of UAE Food Bank. The “10 million meals” campaign is the nation’s biggest food distribution drives to support low-income families and individuals affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak across the UAE.
Earlier, to help labourers in UAE overcome the effect of the COVID-19 outbreak, Dar Al Ber Society distributed over 130,000 meals among them at various labour camps around the UAE.
Dar Al Ber Society had formed a task force to identify the labourers who are facing food shortage due to the coronavirus outbreak.
