Pickup truck slides into water in Dubai

Police and rescue personnel fish out a pickup truck from Umm Suqeim Second Port.

The Maritime Rescue Section with the participation of the joint maritime patrols in the Maritime Security Department at the Ports Police Station in Dubai retrieved a car which slipped into the sea water at Umm Suqeim Second Port.
According to Leiutinant Colonel Ali Abdullah Al Qassib Al Naqbi, Head of the Marine Rescue Department at the Ports Police Station, the driver, a European, intended to land a water bike on the sea, but he lost control of his car in the pier and slid into the water.
Al Naqbi indicated that the accident occurred at 12:22pm and was pulled to safety by Dubai Police vehicles without any injuries.
