The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) has shut down a number of ladies and gentlemen's salons in the emirate due to the violation of precautionary measures put in place to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
The SEDD carried out several inspections in the various regions of Sharjah during the current situation.
The authorities have laid down conditions, that is wearing medical masks and gloves by staff and visitors, booking appointment for service, apart from sanitising the centre and salon continuously to ensure the safety and health of the public.
The SEDD said that it would not tolerate any establishment or activity that did not adhere to the procedures and conditions issued by the Health Ministry.
The SEDD stressed on the importance of full cooperation from all to achieve the desired goals to protect society in the current conditions.
The campaign spreads reassurance among people, and to guarantee that there are no violations, which might cause a risk to public health.
