Meanwhile, Dr. Farida Al Hosani, UAE health sector spokesperson, said that the circumstances of COVID-19 are forcing us to adopt a different lifestyle, and be strictly committed to following precautionary measures, health practices and guidelines
“People with underlying health conditions such as diabetes, heart conditions, hypertension and respiratory illnesses are at higher risk for COVID-19. We urge them to stay home, avoid gatherings and follow health practices,” Al Hosani cautioned.
“It is too early and we cannot say that the spread of COVID-19 has been curbed. It all depends on our commitment to precautionary measures put in place and abiding to health instructions and practices particularly social distancing,” Al Hosani said.
Al Hosani further said that with business activities resumed, we might see an increase in cases if the public doesn’t act responsibly and continue to abide by measures in place.
“It is the responsibility of every one, citizens and residents, to cooperate and show their full commitment,” Al Hosani concluded.
