UAE government offices to have 50% employees from June 7

The UAE government has announced raising the percentage of employees present in the headquarters of ministries, federal authorities and institutions to 50% of the total number of employees from Sunday, June 7, with commitment to preventive measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

On the other hand, businesses based in Jebel Ali Free Zone Area (JAFZA) resume operations amid strict precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all.

Dubai's based Joseph Group, the largest signage company in Middle East and Africa resumes full operation adhering to strict precaution measures to ensure safety of its employees and clients.

Last week, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed the UAE will continue to serve all and pursue its efforts to deliver its Centennial Plan 2071 which aims to make the UAE among the best countries in the world.

''The government has worked remotely with efficiency during the past months and today is completing its works from the field after the return of employees to work,'' said Sheikh Mohammed while chairing a virtual meeting of the UAE Cabinet.

''We discussed in our meeting the procedures for the return of employees to their offices and the future mechanisms of government work. Health will remain a priority. We have instructed officials

to provide all means of safety and prevention and create a healthy environment for the safety of all,'' Sheikh Mohammed added.
