Abu Dhabi Civil Defence douses warehouse fire

The Civil Defence teams in Abu Dhabi controlled a fire that erupted in a waste warehouse in Al Mafraq Industrial Area in Abu Dhabi. There were no injuries.
The command and control centre in the Operations Department of the Central Operations Sector in Abu Dhabi Police was alerted of the outbreak of fire in the warehouse.
Civil Defence teams immediately moved to the scene, where they controlled the fire.

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence appealed to the owners of factories and warehouses in industrial establishments, to adhere to the standards and conditions of prevention and safety, and not to store materials in a random manner.
They urged them to follow up on maintenance of safety and protection devices periodically.
