VIDEO: 20 million meals delivered to workers in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra

The Authority of Social Contribution — Ma’an with its ‘Together We Are Good’ programme in Abu Dhabi hits a milestone of 20 million meals delivered to workers at 35 accommodation complexes in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.

Ma’an announced that it would continue providing meals to workers in Abu Dhabi through the ‘Together We Share’ initiative over the coming weeks.

Ma’an said on Instagram, “A lot can happen in just 6 weeks. Like the 20 million meals that have been provided to hundreds of thousands of workers across 35 complexes in Abu Dhabi.

“We thank our community for coming together through the #TogetherWeAreGood programme to support our country and its residents surpass these difficult times.”

Ma'an's Together We Are Good programme was set up to give the community a chance to support Abu Dhabi Government’s efforts to address the current health and economic challenges.

Ma’an was established in February 2019 by the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi with the aim of bringing together the government, the private sector and civil society to support a culture of social contribution and participation. The authority will deliver solutions for social challenges with four main pillars of work – a Social Investment Fund, a Social Incubator Program, a Social Volunteering Program and the introduction of a new type of public contracting, Social Impact Bonds.
