The Directorate of Human Resources in Sharjah, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Prevention, represented in the Sharjah Medical District, has proceeded with providing COVID-19 testing for employees of Sharjah government, who are expected to resume work, to assure their safety before starting work.
A maximum of 200 employees are set to be examined a day as per a schedule already prepared for the purpose to ensure the application of all relevant precautionary measures, including physical distancing of 2 metres and wearing of face masks and gloves.
The screening facility has begun receiving employees of the Sharjah government, to conduct the COVID-19 testing, according to the schedules prepared for their attendance. The employees will be notified in advance of the date of testing. The centre receives employees from 9am to 1pm.
"The move falls in line with the directives of the His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council, to ensure the highest level of safety and protection in the emirate of Sharjah," said Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, Member of Sharjah Executive Council, and Chairman of Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources.
