In a kind gesture to reunite a family, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, directed to facilitate the return of two Syrian parents to the UAE after they had been stranded in Bosnia following closure of the world’s airports.
Left behind in the country were two daughters in difficult health conditions with their 75-year-old grandmother.
The Syrian family thanked His Highness the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi for this humanitarian gesture, which reunited them after a long period.
The father said, “Thank you, Your Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan ... Thank you on behalf of my family.”
The mother stressed that the UAE is the home of humanity, where there is no difference between a citizen and a resident. She explained that the condition of her daughters was very difficult, as they could not return to the country.
“As long as we live in the UAE, we do not really worry. Thank you, Your Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan,” the mother added.
The two daughters and grandmother celebrate the news.
As for the grandmother who embraced the two daughters throughout the absence of their parents, she said that that the condition of the two girls was very difficult, since they needed constant care and follow-up.
“The kindness of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan came to mitigate the suffering of the two girls, and enabled their parents to return and reunite with them. May Allah Almighty protect the UAE ... Thank you, Your Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan,” the grandmother said.
