Two Asians jailed for drug possession in Dubai

The Dubai Public Prosecution referred two Asians to criminal court for possession of 87 drug pills in Dubai bars.

Official records indicate that the defendants were one of Dubai bars when a hotel inspection officer suspected their behaviours, and approached them to find out that they carried 87 drug pills.

Once approached by the officer, the second defendant took a wrap out of his pocket and attempted to throw it away.

When asked about it, the defendant confessed that he had brought the drugs from his home country for his personal use, while the other defendant claimed that he had got them from the first defendant in the intention of selling the drugs to some friends for Dhs750.

Accordingly, both of them are being charged with drug possession, and are jailed for their actions.
