16 soccer players from various clubs in the country participated in the ‘Ride With Dubai Police’ initiative launched by the General Command of Dubai Police.
The initiative aims to open the door for those who want to volunteer within the specialised police bicycle teams and aid the Dubai Police in educating the public about the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the Emirate in the fight against the coronavirus.
The players that contributed were: Mohamed Fawzi, Hazza Salem, Abdel Aziz Heikal, Abdullah Al Naqbi, Mahmoud Khamis, Tariq Ahmed, Engineer Kaser, Fahd Khamis, Mohsen Musabeh, Abdul Rahman Muhammad, Mahdi Ali, Salah Rashid, Khaled Ismail, Badr Harib, and Bakhit Saad and Ali Saleh. They aided in providing awareness of precautionary measures during a bicycle tour of Jumeirah, Service Street on Sheikh Zayed Road, and City Walk.

The players expressed their happiness for their participation in the initiative, stressing that their accession comes in compliance with the statement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The slogan for the community initiatives of the Dubai Police is, ‘Everyone is responsible for everyone’.
It is worth noting that the "Share with Bicycle Teams" initiative came as directed by His Excellency General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, to enable community members to participate in the framework of social responsibility and under the slogan and contribute to the service of the country and awareness of the procedures, precaution and preventive measures against the coronavirus.
