The UAE Air Force's aerobatic team, Al Fursan (the Knights), painted the skies over Kuwait Hospital in Dubai and Sharjah in tribute to the healthcare frontliners who have been bravely fighting the pandemic.
The Knights team carried the messages of pride and honour to the medical teams with the participation of the members of the armed forces, in celebration of the heroes in the first line of defense and honouring them for their prominent role in responding to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The initiative is a reminder of the great efforts made by these people at different areas of the country.
The event witnessed the medical, nursing, technical and administrative staff of the hospitals stood waving the UAE flag as an expression of appreciation to welcome the initiative.
The UAE Ministry of Health valued the initiative of the General Command of the Armed Forces, which reflects the directives of the rational leadership and carries an impressive and inspiring message for the medical staff and appreciation for their giving and dedication in protecting the health and safety of society from the global pandemic.

The Ministry pointed out that the initiative contributes to raising the morale of the medical and nursing staff in the hospitals.
The ministry stressed that all members of the medical and nursing staff in the first line of defense have high morale and are determined to fulfill their national and humanitarian duty, and protect the health of the community of the country with all competence and determination.
The medical community in the country also praised the initiative.
Salem Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) said: “This wonderful initiative was a model of the support that we receive from all state institutions… What we have witnessed today is not strange to you while you protect the nation and its protectors.”
The Dubai Health Authority thanked The Knights, appreciating their efforts and said that it had a positive impact on the health and administrative staff of the authority.
