His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, visited the Strata, a composite aero structures manufacturing facility wholly owned by Mubadala, on Friday.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed reviewed the latest developments and projects the Strata is handling and hailed its young workforce.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed took to social media and said, “During a visit to Strata, I met young & talented individuals who are contributing to global excellence in the aerospace sector. This pioneering UAE initiative is at the heart of our ambition to invest in a diversified, knowledge-based economy led by a highly qualified workforce.”

Strata, among other national companies in the aerospace industry, strives to embody the vision articulated through Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. It aims to build a diversified and sustainable knowledge-based economy along with a qualified Emirati workforce.

One of Strata’s main objectives is growing a national workforce to help position Abu Dhabi as a global hub for international aerospace activity.
Strata takes its duty to help bring young Emiratis into the aerospace industry.

Strata said, “We are proud to play this important role in developing the UAE’s manufacturing sector and creating new opportunities for UAE Nationals. Our Aero-structure Technician Training Program has graduated over 300 Emiratis since its inception in 2010, with UAE nationals making up over half (58%) of the current workforce— 86% of which are female.”

Recently, Strata and Mubadala Healthcare collaborate to create multiple medical supplies to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The cooperation is part of Mubadala’s #WeAreDedicated campaign aimed at fostering collaboration across diverse enterprises and sectors to protect the community, and to support the UAE government in its COVID-19 response and mitigation.
