Nothing could have been more inspirational for students across the UAE, who began their summer vacations from Thursday, than a message from none other than His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
On Thursday Sheikh Mohammed tweeted a video to congratulate students, teachers and parents for completing their academic year successfully during this unprecedented times.
He wished all a very happy holidays, good health and success
“Dear students, an unprecedented academic year has ended... a test for us all, but we passed. Thank you for your diligence. We thank your parents, dedicated teachers and the @MOEducationUAE team. Have a happy holiday & see you next year in the best of health & success,” tweeted Sheikh Mohammed.
In its meeting held remotely on Sunday, the Federal Cabinet approved an additional Dhs320 million budget for national universities.
''We approved Dhs320 million in extra budgets for our national universities to improve their future performance. Normality will resume at our universities & schools. It's the government's job to create an ideal environment for students to return in the academic year 2020/2021,'' Sheikh Mohammed had tweeted.
A couple of days ago the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), has announced that students can resume their studies next year in all private schools in the emirate, according to the preventive controls and requirements issued by the concerned authorities.
The decision to resume studies during the next academic season comes within a comprehensive plan based on the commitment of educational institutions to precautionary measures and a careful follow-up of developments and evaluations of the coronavirus pandemic, to ensure the highest standards of safety and protection for students, and for all workers in the educational field from educational and administrative cadres aid workers.
