A minor accident involving several vehicles took place near Al Khan crossing near Al Qasba in Sharjah on Sunday morning.
Traffic slowed down for due to crash, but was cleared after sometime.
Preliminary investigation reveled that not keeping safe distance and distraction during driving were the cause of the crash.
Photographs showed front grill and bonnet of a private car heavily damaged.
A taxi involved in the crash had its front grill damaged, while near the signal, a private car jumped on the curbs hitting a traffic post.

A video of the accident showed passerby helping the motorists involved in the crash.
The owner was of the private vehicle was safe suffered minor injuries.
The Sharjah Police General Directorate urge all motorists to be cautious and take all safety precautions while driving. Drivers are advised to leave a safe distance between vehicles, reduce speed and drive with caution and not to use mobile phones, to achieve ultimate safety and security.
Motorists have also been urged to control their temper while driving and to avoid in any kind of altercation in the streets.
