Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak Bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, visited on Monday the headquarters of the free medical examination campaign for COVID-19 at the Expo Center Sharjah.
The Deputy Commander of Sharjah Police was briefed on the procedures of conducting medical examinations.
Brigadier Bin Amer praised the great response and the increasing demand from members of the public for the testing.
The free medical examination campaign is the first step to get all residents of the Emirates tested for COVID-19.
Accordingly to a specific schedule, conditions were established to ensure protection and safety for all residents of the Emirate.
Adding that the campaign aims to detect the virus in accordance with specific procedures and conditions, ensuring the safety of all residents, in order to check on their health and freedom from the virus, by obtaining a free official result, which many of them were unable to obtain under that exceptional circumstances.

Brigadier Bin Amer praised the community initiatives and the continuous support provided by the Preventive Medicine Department to conduct free medical examinations, to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
He also hailed the role of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, which initiated the processing of testing centres according to the highest health standards, and providing them with medical and technical personnel Qualified and trained to ensure community health and safety.
