A new digital campaign challenges people from around the world to set out and make their wildest dreams come true. The Mars Shot with Kevin Hart follows on from his successful ‘Moon Shot’ campaign, but takes things a step further.
The Emirates has partnered with Kevin Hart to make three people’s crazy dreams come true, encouraging people to imagine the impossible and set goals and motivations that show there truly are no limits when people dream and set out to accomplish their dreams.
Online users across the world can share their dream in a one-minute high-quality video and post it to their Instagram accounts using #MarsShot. After stages of public voting and evaluation, three inspiring dreamers will have their impossible become possible after they are officially announced in a live virtual event, to be hosted by Kevin Hart, on July 29, 2020.
Megastar Kevin Hart’s collaboration with The Emirates, will support passionate dreamers who have big, inspiring and impactful ideas that bring a positive change to their own lives and communities across the world.
The Mars Shot aims to spread positivity, unite people towards the human desire to grow, and highlight their capability to achieve the impossible with willpower and determination. The campaign has been inspired by The Emirates’ own Mars Shot – the launch of the Emirates Mars Mission’s ‘Hope’ probe to Mars on July 15th 2020.
Kevin Hart, who emerged from humble beginnings to become the world’s highest grossing comedian and a highly sought-after movie star, added “Through this campaign, we dare people to dream. We dare them to make their goals in life so big and show them that what they have thought of as impossible, is possible.”

I am committed to empowering individuals to change their realities to the better.”
Alia Al Hammadi, director of the Emirates Nation Brand office, said, “Since its foundation, The Emirates has united people from more than 190 nationalities to fulfill their utmost potential. This investment in the human capital has, in return, driven the nation’s rapid growth and development to great strides in less than half a century. At a time with unprecedented global change and uncertainty, our hope is to inspire, create and build a bigger sense of community and togetherness to uplift and encourage the next generation.”
She added, “Together with Kevin Hart, this campaign is the first step towards bringing the world’s youth together and inspiring them that the impossible does not exist with resilience and determination.”
The Mars Shot campaign is part of The Emirates’ wider mission to make global contributions that help build a better future for humanity. To this end The Emirates is committed to making these dreams a reality.
On July 15, 2020, the young nation will lead the Arab world’s first space mission through its Hope probe to Mars, which will contribute to global efforts to explore the Red Planet. The probe will gather comprehensive data on the Martian atmosphere to be shared for free with over 200 research centers and institutions across the world.
