Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, who was shot by Taliban in her hometown of Swat in 2012, celebrated her 23rd birthday at the weekend with family and close friends in London.
Malala shared the pictures of her birthday on Instagram enjoying the occasion with her parents and brothers.
She also shared a beautiful family portrait with her two brothers in another photograph.
"Chapter 23! Ready for a quarter-life crisis," Malala captioned the pictures.
Many renowned personalities wished Malala a Happy Birthday on social media platforms.
Michelle Obama wrote: “Wishing a wonderful birthday to @Malala! As we celebrate #MalalaDay, let’s not simply be in awe of her accomplishments. Let’s join her inspiring work for education and do our part to support the extraordinary talents and potential of girls around the world.”

Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra wrote, “Happy birthday to such a beautiful soul. Wishing you a year filled with so much love and happiness.”
In June, Malala celebrated completing her degree at Oxford University by sharing photos of herself covered in cake and spending time with her family.
The female education activist studied for a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Lady Margaret Hall.
