In line with its plan to expand and increase the scope of tests in the UAE with a view to early detecting COVID-19 cases and isolating their associates, the Ministry of Health and Prevention announced it conducted more than 48,000 new tests for different segments of the society over the past 24 hours, using the best and latest medical examination technologies.
The tests led to the detection of 275 cases of different nationalities, all of which are stable and are receiving the necessary healthcare.
This brings to 55,848 the total cases registered.
The ministry also announced that 393 COVID-19 patients fully recovered after receiving the necessary healthcare from the moment they were admitted to the hospital. This brings to 46,418 the total number of recoveries.
