The UAE Health Ministry revealed 211 new cases and bringing the total number of cases to 56,922.
The health ministry announced the death of one person who tested positive for COVID-19, due to complications. This brings the total death toll to 339.
The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished current COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery.
The total number of recovered cases of Coronavirus has reached 49,269 with 352 cases recovered on Sunday after receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Health Services Company’s (SEHA) pharmaceutical teams are playing a prominent role in combatting COVID-19 on the frontlines.
Pharmaceutical teams have joined the medical, nursing, and administrative staff in the nation’s fight against the virus, making it their national duty. Clinical pharmacists in particular are on the frontlines, supporting COVID-19 patients every day.
These teams are part of SEHA’s Allied Health arm — responsible for medical prevention, diagnostic treatment programs for a range of conditions and illnesses, in synergy with other multidisciplinary health teams to provide the best patient outcomes.
More than 13.19 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 572,945 have died, according to a tally. Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
