The Abu Dhabi Health Services (SEHA) has added three centers (Zayed Sports City, Corniche area, and Hili area in Al Ain) to conduct COVID-19 testing via DPI laser-based technology for Dhs50 for those willing to enter Abu Dhabi.
It urged the public to pre-book an appointment through its smart application before heading to any of its centres to avoid crowd.
“Only those who are tested negative for COVID-19, will be allowed to enter the Emirate of Abu Dhabi within 48 hours from the time of testing,” SEHA added.
“In case the DPI testing showed a necessity to conduct a PCR test, examinee will have to subject to it at the center for Dhs320, followed by abidance with staying home until the result is shown,” SEHA said.
Only persons from 12 and above can subject to DPI testing, it added.
Original UAE ID card must be shown to subject the DPI testing along with the QR code for the appointment, SEHA said, noting that its smart application allows pre-booking an appointment for an individual or for a group with maximum 3 persons, and 5 persons of one family or domestic workers.
The appointments at these centers will be available daily beginning from Aug.1 from 12 pm.
