Iran's president offered on Wednesday to send medical aid to Lebanon and treat people injured in the massive blast in Beirut.
"Iran announces its readiness to send medical aid to Lebanon and also offers treatment of the injured and other necessary medical assistance," Hassan Rouhani said, according to state TV.
"We hope that the circumstances of this incident will be determined as soon as possible and that peace will return to Beirut.

A massive explosion took place at the Beirut port on Tuesday.
According to an official, at least 100 were killed and more than 4000 wounded.
The cause of the blast is not yet identified, but it seems to be triggered by fire and stuck with the force of an earthquake.
Lebanon was already on the brink of collapse amid a severe economic crisis that has ignited mass protests in recent months. Its hospitals are confronting a surge in coronavirus cases, and there were concerns the virus could spread further as people flooded into hospitals.
