Man jailed for bribing driving instructor

An Asian man was jailed and referred to criminal court for bribing a driving instructor with Dhs5,000 in Dubai, in bid to pass his driving test.

The defendant took the help of a cleaning worker who offered to take Dhs500 in order to assist him reach the driving instructor without any trouble.

The worker exchanged numbers with the defendant and took all information about his driving test, and claimed that he needed Dhs5,000 for the driving instructor.

At the time of payment, the defendant and the worker were suddenly interrupted with one of the examiners, who immediately asked about what was going on and found out the truth about the bribe operation.

Both the defendant and the worker were imprisoned and are now facing punishment for their act.
