Asians held for stealing face masks, almonds worth over Dhs167,000 from warehouse in Dubai

Four Asians were arrested and referred to criminal court for breaking into a Dubai warehouse and stealing around 100 boxes of medical face masks and 32 boxes of American almonds worth Dhs167,386.

The gang managed to break into a parked van first and drove it away from the warehouse’s main entrance. They used a chainsaw to break the locks and enter the warehouse.

Police were later notified with the robbery by one of the staff, and immediate investigations were carried out to identify the suspects.

Surveillance cameras were reviewed, and intensive investigations revealed the identity of two of the defendants. The defendants confessed on their accomplices and they were all jailed and referred to criminal court to receive maximum punishment for their action.
