The initiative, announced on International Youth Day on August 12, is in response to the 'Salam Beirut' campaign launched by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairperson of The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) and Eminent Advocate for Refugee Children at UNHCR, to provide urgent relief to the victims of the tragic explosion.
Sajaya’s 'Salam cultural event' to be hosted live on Zoom will feature a series of activities including an art auction, drawing, sketching and painting, and instrumental and vocal music segments. A Dhs50 entry fee to the event will be paid by participants on the TBHF website link https://bh.ikhair.net/ml/lebn/, which will be donated in full to TBHF. Participants can also make charitable donations using the same link.
A screenshot of the confirmation message should then be forwarded to Sajaya's WhatsApp number 050 766 9360 to receive a link to enter the event.
