Asian jailed for running away with woman’s handbag in Dubai

An Asian man, 40-year-old, was arrested and referred to criminal court for mugging a woman of her handbag and belonging.
The victim testified that she was heading to the labours camp using her company’s vehicle and in the presence of a driver, and once they arrived, the driver went out of the car and the victim was surprised to see four men batting into the vehicle and surrounding her.
The four defendants began to assault her, one of them grabbed her purse and fled away.
The handbag included Dhs2,000, credentials, a credit card, and a Samsung phone.
A nearby witness saw the whole incident and managed to identify one of the defendants.
