Harsher penalties await offenders of coronavirus curbs in UAE

Salem Al Zaabi, Acting Director of the Federal Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Prosecution said, “The penalties list for coronavirus violations are still in effect, and we bet on the awareness of community members in dealing with the situation.”

“The UAE might consider re-enforcing a night time movement ban if the situation deteriorate.”

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) said on Twitter, “We fully trust you, your commitment and your cooperation, as the decrease in the number of cases does not mean that we have eliminated COVID-19.
