Poor ventilation in enclosed spaces increase COVID-19 infection

Omar Al Hammadi, UAE Government media briefing spokesperson said taking all preventive methods is the key to protecting ourselves from COVID-19.

Hammadi during the coronavirus briefing said, “We are still at risk of contracting the virus, and taking all preventive methods each day is the key to protecting ourselves and preserving the safety of society, with all our commitment we will win.

“Maintaining good ventilation inside the home is important by opening windows, doors and air-conditioners. Poor ventilation in enclosed spaces can increase the chances of the virus spreading inside homes."

Al-Hammadi also said, “With the return of the schools, we ask parents to monitor any symptoms of disease on their children on a daily basis, to measure their temperature periodically, and to ensure that their bodies' immunity is strengthened by eating healthy food, and taking any necessary vaccinations.”
