As a precaution, Education, Emergency and Crisis authorities announce the transfer of a group of schools to the distance learning system to avoid coronavirus infection among teachers, staff and students.
The statement was made during the implementation of the examinations phase for teachers and administrative staff in schools and before the enrollment of students.
The announcement came after suspected cases of COVID-19 virus among the employees who were examined, as this precautionary measure will remain in place until the results of the laboratory tests appear.

The Ministry and NCEMA confirmed that school administrations would communicate directly with parents and provide all updates on the study system and health status.
The Ministry of Education and NCEMA call on all school employees students and their families to cooperate and disclose any suspected cases of the virus or the presence of any symptoms in order to limit the spread in addition to not practicing work or sending students to school if any symptoms appear.
They also direct the public's attention to the need to obtain information from official sources and not to circulate rumors. It also confirms that legal measures will be taken in coordination with the concerned authorities towards anyone who violates the preventive measures.
