In a heartwarming incident a kitten was rescued from a highway in the United States.
The incident dates back to the last week of August when a person abandoned a box of kittens.
The Official Washington State Patrol District 3 Public Information Officer for Yakima, Benton, Franklin, Walla Walla, Garfield, Columbia, and Asotin counties shared a video of the kitten.
Trooper C. Thorson said, “Remember the kittens that got ran over last Friday in Pasco and one was still alive but I couldn’t catch it?
Well... it’s been in my engine compartment all weekend!! We heard it crying when I got to the office this A.M. Someone please adopt it!! WSP...509-734-7034…”
Thorson also said, “Whoever dropped/abandoned the box of kittens on the Road 100 on-ramp to E/B I-182 in Pasco… not a very cool move.
Thanks to you, three have been run over! One is still alive but I couldn’t catch it before it ran away. At least drop them off at a shelter next time....
The police department appealed to the public to adopt the kitten,
“We got the baby kitten adopted!! @Jennaontheair is the proud new mom!! Thank you for all the calls and responses! #MondayMiracle”
